I needed the cheeriness of this floral top this morning.  I love it's lightweight material.  Again the temperature is expected to be fairly high today so I wanted to be cool.  I'm also pretty tired after a busy day that started with me waking up at 04:30 when Schatz got up to head out to the run and then I was chatting on Whatsapp with my daughter before dragging myself out of bed and getting started for the day.

The kids and I headed to the Run and then for lunch and then from East to West to my niece for her sons 2nd birthday party.  Then back south to home.  All in all a busy but fun day was had by all.

Do you see the box and balls behind me ... those are my collection toward the 'other' part of Toy Run which took place yesterday.  Those are for the Cassie Run will takes place in early December.  Yesterday saw the Toy Run take in over 35,000 toys.  So awesome to see all the bikers with the toys on their bikes.  And let me say, as with any biker gathering, there are some sights to behold ... where you about have to drag your jaw off the ground ... I don't quite get why its necessary to dress sp damn trashy just because you're on a bike?  I refrained, with great difficulty, from taking pics of the sights ;-), so instead, I'll share pics of the fun side of it all.  For your viewing pleasure ....

Floral peplum

I've been looking for another peplum top for a while. I've seen some here and there, but either the fabric was not quite right or the price was way too much. This weekend we headed off for the mall as Courteney had birthday she wanted to spend. I had a few errands to run myself, so we combined. We trawled the stores, her looking for what she had in mind and me looking for what I had in mind, namely a peplum top. 

I eventually found this top in Fashion Express. I was initially not too sure about the loud floral print (or grannys curtain material as G-man calls these types of prints) but the colours really appeal to me. Part of me was nervous as I often think that floral can be ageing, but overall, I don't feel too old in this.  I'm hunting for a few more and think I need to head to Eastgate, Melrose Arch or Sandton in this effort.

Whats your thoughts on my outfit?  I must admit, I did feel great it this and give it about a 7/10, maybe even an 8.

Twice in a week ... red

I realised as I left the house this morning that I was wearing the same belt and shoes that I'd worn on Monday ... too late too late I cried and carried on along my merry way to the office.

The craziness that is our house at times ... Tequila wanting to chase Bobbi, with Lucky (not viewable) looking on and Jodi lying in the kitchen trying her best to look as though she's ignorning the going on's.  It's madness I tell you, madness.
