 Details : Top : Edgars | Capris & Belt  : Woolworths | Shoes : ShoeCity | Ring : Truworths | Watch : Fossil |

Its day 13 in the FABruary Style Challenge and I see that I am short of a few posts - not sure I'm going to catch them up though.

This morning I had a look at a few of the other participants (duh me, still not quite up to speed with Twitter as yet) and want to have a look at a few more.  I added a few to follow in future.

These capris are more mint green in real life than how they appear as blue in this photo.  I'm always amazed at how colours change when photographed.

I'm still super keen on this top and think this is the best its looked thus far. I had originally intended to wear it with these trousers (pictured to the left and which are a little darker than the capris I'm wearing today) but then decided to go with the capris.   I also prefer it styled with the thinner belt than the two previous times as pictured below.
Hope your day is super stylish and fun.

Althought its not noticeable, I did pop past my hairdresser yesterday and she agreed that the back of my hair was not cut correctly and then fixed it for me.  I'm feeling far happier about my hair now.  Today I wanted to keep with the casual office look as I'm really ready for the office to close.

Last night we went to Mugg and Bean for me to have dinner as Schatz had indulged in a Lamb Shank for lunch and I was hungry.  I ordered Chicken Schnitzel, however they fried it for about 2 minutes too long ... the topping was interesting however, I was quite disappointed with the chicken ... after dinner we headed off to my sister Noleen to drop off an order for her daughter-in-law and then we passed by Lynn to deliver her order.  Richard had us in stitches telling us stories.  I so enjoy a good belly laugh.

I also got to see the Vow Renewal album Lynn is working on and was wowed by the photographs ... lol ... honestly, seeing them printed made an incredible difference and I am inspired by my own work and fired up to keep learning and improving my skills.  I've been a little unsure of myself and turned down an exciting opportunity due to lack of self belief but after seeing what I produced and that the photos have had the mininal amount of editing done I think I may well have a gift/capability.

I'm so looking forward to photographing my children real soon ... can hardly wait.

Hope your Thursday is absolutely fabulous and to all those retail staffers who are working through the Christmas season ... thank you for your sacrifice, I appreciate it.

Have a happy day now and do stop by the guestbook and let me know you came by ... at Simply Sassy we love love love comments and commentors.

Red capris and a floral peplum

Capris and a floral peplum
Peplum : Fashion Express
Capris : Woolworths

Bracelets : Charlotte Russe & Various others

Schatz was still half asleep and shaky when he tooks my pics this morning, so apologies for the bluriness of the pic.  I am feeling in the holiday/weekend spirit so decided to wear my capris.  I find this top to be happy - the colour and the print just looks happy and I enjoy feeling happy.

Last night was our monthly Sistas Dinner.  With it being December, we gave out Christmas gifts.  I got such gorgeous gifts.  I'm hoping to get photos from my sisters soon to share.

Norma gave us each a little wooden crate filled with yummy goodies like biscuits and sweeties as well as a three piece cake set.  Its quite different and definitely gorgeous.
Noleen gave us each a wall hanging with a poem on it and a gorgeous clock.
Lynn gave us a note book (mine has an image of the Eiffel Tower on it), scarf, sweeties and hand cream.

I gave Noleen and Lynn each a pendant and for Norma I got a bracelet and I added in a little Christmas fruitcake and a minature candycane.  I also brought Christmas Crackers for us to share.  I always enjoy watching the other patrons faces ... as curious as they are about what we're getting up to as curious as I am about them :-).

While I was out to dinner I got a message from home saying that our young cat was missing.  Schatz and the kids searched the closets and he went around the garden with a torch, but she was nowhere to be found.  Luckily this morning the neighbours domestic told our Felicia that they had taken her to the SPCA - she's home safe and sound but she's such a little adventurer we're going to have to keep a close eye on her.  She's also due to be 'fixed', so we'd best get that done soonest ... however cute a little litter of kittens would be, I so don't want to fall in love with even more animals.

I guess as I need now is a Santa bag and I could look like a southern hemisphere Santa helper :0).

Happy day to you
