Chanel style cardigan

Diamante accessories
Black, white, grey and a dash of coral blue.

Feeling emotionally stuck in the doldrums, I had to about drag myself out of bed today to get ready for work.  I believe the days that you feel the most challenged is when you put o  something that you love and that makes you feel confident.  So, I paired my favourite lace skirt with a coral cami and this Chanel style cardigan.  This is a potential interview outfit.  Not too stuffy, but with a little bit of pizzazz and edge.  I think I could get away with this look instead of a suit - what are your thoughts?

  4. This is a perfect outfit for an interview, Wendy. Elegant but not too stiff and with a dash of colour. Your shorter hair looks great too and it is really nice and shiny.
It is important to feel confident and good in whatever you wear, not only these days but especially now. You don't want to try anything new because your mind won't be free and you are probably everything but relaxed...

But I am sure there will be better and easier days soon! Good luck for you.

  6. I'm all about diverging from the standard suit because I've never managed to feel comfortable in one. I much prefer a blazer with a mismatched skirt, dress, or pants. I especially like mixing patterns in neutrals like you've done here. Very pretty.

  7. Wendy, I am sorry to read about your job situation. But you look wonderful on this outfit. Smart, elegant and professional. Most definitely suitable for a job interview. An alternative to the lace cami could be a silky slouchy tee. Beautiful outfit.
