Turquoise beads

Details
Dress : Charter Club at Edgars
Cardigan : Truworths
Shoes : Rage
Belt : Edgars
Necklace and bracelets : Mr. Price
I really do like this dress, however, with it being a knit, it tends to cling to every little lump 'n bump so I have avoided it and in fact I think this is only the third time I've worn it.  I do believe I've only ever posted the first time I wore it last winter.  Maybe it'll come out more when things are toned, however, no promises and no pressure.

I think for the majority of women knits can be a bit challenging.  I find that I'm looking for ways to smooth over the lumps 'n bumps and some days, shapewear is just too exhausting to even consider.  I do tend to wear hose with some control and that don't sit as tightly as shapewear.  With shapewear, after 8 hours I start to feel bloated and am ready to rip it off my body, which then would be around 2pm and what do I do for the last two hours of work and the shopping trip on the way home?

Worn May 2011

This picture was really a blatant attempt to show off the shoes more.  I do like them so much.  I'm still considering the black and camel ones I saw last month.  However, having joined the gym and not made one visit as yet ... I should possibly consider focusing my energy on gym instead of shoes.  Miss Bean and I do have an agreement to attend Aqua Aerobics tomorrow as part of my attemp to ease into the gym experience.

Now it's time to do some web work and photo editing.  Hope your Wednesday was wonderful.

Thanks for visiting.

  4. Pretty shoes. And I greatly sympathize on your (and every woman's) dilemma concerning form-fitting clothes. Men escape that problem. I've learned first-hand what Spanx feels like after a few hours. Nobody deserves to be tortured by their clothes, and yet none of us wants to look lumpy either. It's a conundrum.

  5. Oh no you didn't join the gym and not go yet! lol

I feel you. I'm fine once I get to the gym, but it's the time in between leaving the house and arriving there that's always an issue.

I like the way you styled this dress today, with the belted cardi, and er, the giant guard dog :o
