Although I made the effort to put some articles of interest up, my sister called me this morning and asked if I'd given up on posting my 'fashionista' posts. As I reassured her this morning, I haven't - I've just not gotten around to doing the posts of them.
So, althought it's not a comprehensive collection, here are three of my latest looks :
October 4th |
It was quite chilly last week and a lot of ladies resorted to fall type outfits. Finally, having found a red belt, I put this outfit together
Skirt : Truworths
Shirt : Woolworths
Shoes : Rage
Belt : Chinese Mall
Necklace : ?
Another cold day outfit
Trousers, Shirt : Truworths
Belt & Necklace : Edgars
Shoes : Shoe City
Bracelet : Charlotte Russe
Todays outfit was inspired very much by the style of Extra Petite. I could not resist the feminine look of this top when I spotted it a couple weeks back and the cut of the skirt. As usual, the skirt is a little big in the waist, but then, that's normal for us pear shaped ladies, although highly frustrating.
Skirt & Top : Truworths
Shoes : Legit
Necklace : Anniversary gift from my ex husband
Necklace : Anniversary gift from my ex husband
Bracelet : Charlotte Russe
Earrings : 40th gift (American Swiss)
I fell in love with these shoes |
In other news, we took Friday off and took the boys to Lory Park Zoo. Gorgeous big cats were to be seen and the most beautiful birds. Definitely worth a visit and great thats in support of a good cause. The enclosures were gorgeous and whoever designs them is most welcome to do my garden.
Saturday we had a photoshoot. The photographer seemed to enjoy photographing Courteney a little too much, but there were some great shots of the kids. Sadly, he did not seem to do so great with Graeme and I though. Still, the pics of the kids, especially Courteney are great.
Sunday we had lunch with Lynn and Richard in celebration of Richies birthday today. We went to a nursery nearby and although the food was fabulous, the service was a little hit and miss. What blew me away was when the manager stood and argued with us ... Richard about got up and left. Tsk tsk ... sad. We came back to our house for tea and milk tart.
Today was back to school for the kids - I can't believe we're heading so quickly towards the end of the year. 2011 sure hurried by.
Thanks for hanging with me ... 'til the next time, be Fabulous!
You look grand in all three - I think the all-ivory is my favorite. I fell in love with those shoes too! : >
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the trouser outfit. It's so refined.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the manage ARGUED with you! Whatever happened to customer service? And don't people realize that we all spread the word about the bad service we receive more than the good?
So happy to see the "fashionista" is on her way back! Love the outfits and those shoes are stunning! Love you xxx
ReplyDeleteLooking good...but I am so looking forward to warmer weather that I love the last outfit most;-)...and those shoes are to die for darling!
ReplyDeleteWends ... The second and third look are gorgeous. Not in love with the first one. LOVE the floral shoes. Lynn (your sister ~ have to post as anonymouse otherwise I cannot comment)
ReplyDeleteLove the first and the third look - in fact, the first looks perfect on you. Not so mad about the second and love those shoes.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you loved Lory park - I hate it! Too small cages for those wonderful cats.
