Time flies

and it seems to be going quicker and quicker ... I know it's been ages and by now you think I've disappeared into the sunset ... well I haven't!

For those who know going on's in my life, the divorce was finalised on 19th May - it was a quick thing and at close to 40 I find myself truly single. It's new and fun and sad and exciting and filled with opportunities and missed opportunities all in on. The sadest part of all is that I'm so happy being away from him

The kids are doing great. A friend I worked with years ago is a qualified teacher and we had a long chat one day and at the end of it all, she said, if you want to know how you're doing as a parent, just look at your childs school report. I looked at the youngest three's and let me say, they're DOING GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go me! lol. We are waiting for Miss T's to arrive!

I'm still at the same job and some days I could just run into the hills and hide, but all in all, it's going okay. I just can't afford to up and leave and I need a decent amount of time on this stint for my CV. I have been told that my boss thinks I'm great - good for the self esteem. I'm learning so much here, next thing is to start selling houses myself.

On the love front it's rather quiet ... I have been on a couple of dates and chat on email with a couple of guys, but haven't met anyone that really rocks my world yet. I'm not desperate nor in a hurry and I know that someone will come along who is just perfect, but in His time. A couple of weeks back our pastors wife said to me 'There's someone coming into your life and he's going to love and accept your children as your own and just know that God has not forgotten you and He does not expect to you to be alone' ... let me just tell you that she was operating in the Spirit and that really made me think.

Otherwise, not much else. Same ol' same ol' ... work, home, work, home.
