High-low dress

Despite not liking my other 'high-low' hemmed dress very much, I really like this one.  I saw it at Mr. Price about two weekends back and picked it up and put it down twice before deciding to 'go for it'.  This past weekend I saw a lady wearing it in a shoe store and really liked how it looked, which alleviated some of my uncertainties about purchasing it.
Schatz would prefer it if it were sideways though.  All in all, this is a really cheap outfit.  The dress cost R99, the jacket (bought circa 2007) R120.00 and the shoes were all of R110 (circas 2010/09).  The necklace was a birthday present two years back from my sister Lynn.

Shane came round this afternoon to look at the photos and seems really pleased with them.  I'm busy converting them at the moment and then need to finish processing/cropping/adjusting them.  I'll share a few more once I'm done.

I hope your Tuesday was awesome ... say Hi and I'll catch up again soon.

  2. The feeling is mutual. I'm generally not a fan of the high/low hem thing either, but this...this I like. Very chic!

  4. Its a gorgeous dress and its gorgeous on you.

I'm not a fan of the hi-lo either...but I was very tempted by a Vera Wang at Kohl's that had just a bit of a 'low' off-set on one side of the front of the dress. It was so pretty.

  5. You look great in it but I just can not wear them - I have fitted a few and they never look good on me so I think Iwill just skip the trend

  6. I like asymmetrical hems. They create visual interest. It seems like your "eye" (visual perception) is developing. I found that, as I got deeper into photography, my eye started noticing details previously unseen by me.
