1. When you're home alone, do you still close the door when you use the restroom? 

I do indeed close the door.

2. If you have to go grocery shopping, would you rather go alone or with someone?

Alone, otherwise I end up buying more than I'd intended to.

3. It's your best friends birthday, would you buy them a gift even though they didn't buy you one for yours

Yes I would

4. You win the lottery. Lump sum or small payments over a period of time? Why?

Lump sum.  There are many people I'd like to gift so small amounts would not work.

5. Do you like your music loud or at a reasonable level?

Reasonable level ... must be an age thing

6. Are you a beach person or a snowy mountain person? 

Both - I'd love to live on a mountain near the ocean

7. When do you brush your teeth?

Twice a day

8. Can you watch scary movies alone?

I don't usually watch scary movies, so I'd turn it off

9. Soft bed or firm? And in fantasy land, who's in it with you?

Firm ... with Bruce Willis

10. Would you rather stay home all day, or be out and about?

Totally dependent on my mood.  I can easily stay home all day in fact I crave it if I've been out 'n about too often

11. What's one of your worst memories (that you are comfortable sharing)?

Being attacked by two guys with a knife - thankfully I managed to react in time and a security guard heard me scream, so I did not suffer a serious injury, just a flesh wound - but I was peeved that my jacket got a hole in it

12. Do you like to keep the peace or be confrontational?

Mostly keep the peace, but I do say my say without hesitation

13. Are you more likely to be with a large group of people or a few close friends?

A few close friends

14. What are your plans for October?
Enjoy Spring

15. If money were not a problem, where would you like to live?

Paris for part of the year, Houston for others and Cape Town the rest

16. What is your ideal profession?

Photographer

17. Are you (or were you) close to your Mom and Dad?

I was close to Mom and only started a relationship with my Dad much later in life, sadly, and I know that we'd have had a fine time had it happened earlier.  Don't let a parent poison you against another parent.

18. What is one fear that you can't seem to overcome?

Snakes

19. Are you good at math?

Nope, I'm totally hopeless
