February 16 & 17th - Double trouble?

February 16th - Roaring, well kinda

I bought the top almost a month ago and just have not been inspired to wear it ... I already have three other remix ideas for it including for winter, but of course, you can only wear it one way at a time.

The top is from Oasis at Foschini, Skirt - Merien Hall at Edgars, Shoes and belt - hmmm, not sure right now, Necklace one of my Christmas gifts from G-man and it's from Spilhaus.

February 17th - a mustard kinda day
Shirt and top both from Jet, shoes (oh I am just crazy about these shoes) from Foschini.

Today my son Jarod was playing photographer, not a bad job I'd say.

G-man called this a school girl look.  It's not my favourite, but I love the dress.  Sometime in the not too distant future though, I really need to take it to the tailor for adjustments as it gapes at the sides and is a bit big around the hips, which is not visible in photos, but honestly, I hold about a handful of material on each side.
My kewl dude photographer.

Slowly slowly autumn is making its way to our neighbourhood.  I've noticed that it's getting lighter a little later in the mornings now and just last week noticed the first yellowing leaves on the trees outside ... but sigh, we've barely summer again this year.

But, the good part of this is that autumn and winter are my favourite 'style' seasons, so it's something I do look forward to.  The boots and scarves and pantyhose.

  2. Hottest top ever. Love your shift dress+yellow button-down too!

    RE: all your questions ;)
We moved into the house and are still unpacking! I'm going to post pictures as soon as we're done, so hopefully next week!

New baby (puppy!) comes next Saturday, the 26th! I'm excited and nervous. Haha, It's like I'm expecting a human child...

The cat is much better. He's much different than he was at my parents house--he used to be a major loner, but he spends every waking moment glued to my heels now!
