February 11th - Fabulous, it's Friday

Hey hey hey ... it's Friday.

Parisian chique is what G-man called this look.  Another Truworths look as well ... denim skirt from OBR, striped t-shirt - DH, shoes - Truworths, beaded necklaces and wooden bangles - Edgars.

Last time I wore this skirt I was so agitated as my tummy was quite a bit larger and it caused the skirt to ride up the entire day - shortly after that I had it in the 'sell' pile and then decided to hang on a bit.  I'm glad I did - it did not ride up today and I really enjoyed wearing it.  I think it's redeemed.  I am however on the hunt for a more 'tailored' cut denim skirt.

I chose to wear my nude shoes, which is a new attempt for me, usually I'd wear black sandals, but I think it worked out quite well ... my shoes were a hit with ladies in the building - only thing, they're about a half cm too high so by the time I get home, I'm dying to get out of them :-)

All in all, I rate this look as a success.

How was your look today?

  3. I love this look, could be Parisian chic or a sailor theme...gorgeous and the red with it is stunning.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I wish I spent more time in my scrap room, I am more than a year behind and still taking pics like crazy, so I don't think I will ever catch up;-D

    Have a wonderful weekend.
