  1. I love the playful joy in that first picture. And you rock those clothes.

I know what you mean about the jacket in the second picture: I had one that hung just as poorly. Sometimes the cut of an item just doesn't work on our body-type. There's nothing to do except move on without it.

  2. Hello,

The outfit and colors in the first pic are great and suit you well. The look in the second picture is not doing anything to flatter you or give you that pulled together look. The skirt is too long. I love the vibrant color, but it cuts your leg line. I think this skirt would be adorable if you had it shortened to knee length, or jsut aboe the knee. The white top and jacket cut you in half where they meet the orange of the skirt. And the whole look is kind of shapeless and boxy. As a fellow pear, I believe tht we need to accuentuate our wonderfully small waist! I think a top with more color, maybe some of the orange and a dark blue or red in it might look better. A nice fitted sweater would also give you a leaner line. I think you do a great job putting most outfits together. I think this one just misses the mark.

  3. Hi Lisa,

I was considering shortening the skirt but can't quite decide the length - will take some pics of it hiked up - awesome suggestions and much appreciated :-)
