I sometimes just cruise the net reading blogs, mostly they're scrapbook inspired blogs, or photography, but there's a dad one's here and a couple of really 'old' internet friends one's and such ... and sometimes I stumble across one that reminds me of some of what I've lived thorugh in my own life - good bad, down right exciting or heart breaking ... and it allows little snippets, or reminders to break through of what I may have built a fort knoxs around ... sometimes, it's good, sometimes it don't feel like it's good ... but it kinda gives me a chance to air the space, to take a moment to look at where I am, how far I've come, how much I've achieved, to appreciate where I've travelled, what I've seen up close and personal, remember the beautiful hills, and how my heart popped when I walked in Paris, and my soul took flight in Salzburg and how the sight of Neuschwanstein made me feel like a princess and how many dreams have again been realised and others are magically within reach ... and it makes me appreciate all that God has brought into my life ... the life, love, friendships, work, inspiration ... and I can't wait to move to our new home and start the next chapter of living, loving and making a new home ... but this time, it's 'our' home ... where he painted G & W on the wall and I'm sad to think that some point it'll be painted over ... but there's the memory of it and that, oh that is priceless.
I got the following in an email ...
A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
Pictures show that we lived!
