A nation united

Tonight, our flag flies high … people are driving with their flags our their car windows, everywhere you go, you see people wearing Springbok jerseys … it’s amazing. Our neighbours are Portuguese and the house after theirs houses a black family … proudly their South African flags fly.

We’re routing for our boys over in Paris, France … about to run onto a field in a foreign country … with people back home, routing for them, a those who have traveled to see them live. Praying for them.

There are braais and parties in celebration of our team making it to the World Cup Final … it’s heartwarming. It solidifies us as a Nation, a new nation, an integrate nation … a nation with troubles, strife and violence, yet today, irrespective of our skin colour, we are united.

Go Bokke …
