Its a long weekend here, depending on how you slice and dice it ... and if you slice it this way, you take a days leave on Monday and then you only head back to work on Wednesday.
Schatz was told they had to take Monday off, so he tasked me with finding us a place to stay. The hunt was on and for a while I thought we were not going to find anywhere nice when I stumbled upon a gorgeous looking place in Umhlanga. I thought going North would be a nice change and its close enough to Durban too.
I'm really looking forward to our little break and the place we've booked looks absolutely gorgeous. Its the first time we're taking the boys to a guest house, although we are staying in their self catering accommodation, its essentially run as a guesthouse and we've booked to have breakfast, described as ... A full English Breakfast is served outside on our verandah with great views of the sea ... ah yes, the perfect way to the start day in my book.
