EBEW : Green Challenge

Now if you saw these pants in person, you'd note that they have a bit of green hue to them ... not that I'd call them green.  But I'd like to draw your attention to my sage green scarf ... which I bought yesterday for a whopping R19.00.  It has at least three different greens in it and is really rather pretty.  I could not decide how to wear it so I chose to put it through the loop where the cream bit of satin comes through.  If it were cold here, I'd have put on my green trench coat, but it's only just starting autumn here.

Bobbi was full of beans so she got to pose with Mommy instead of the dogs because these pics were done when it was already dark.

Pants & shoes : Edgars
Top : Truworths
Belt : A china store
Scarf : Makro
Bangles : various
Earrings : Miladys

When I got home from work, I started cooking the mince for Lasagne for Thursday evening and started the macaroni for our Mac 'n cheese for dinner.  Tomorrow we'll have a BBQ roast chicken and then when I go out for my monthly sisters dinner, my little family can enjoy their Lasagne as a treat.  Last month I bought them dessert.

This month is also my sister Noleen's birthday month, which means that she's exempt from paying for her dinner.  We've been going out for this dinner once a month now for three years (I think its three year).  Lynn I'm sure will have a record of this as she's done a few layouts of these dinners.

Well, I'm going to go visiting the other ladies who took up the Green Challenge over at EBEW.

Hope your day was fabulous ... til next time, keep it Simply Sassy and Stylish.

  1. The scarf is an excellent contrast! And you've got a two-fer, Visible Monday and EBEW in one. I wish I had planned that well. Have fun on your sisters' outing.

  3. Wendy, your pictures are so good - I'd love to know your secret for success with indoor shots. Also, you look terrificly chic. I saw another style blogger loop a scarf through a blouse this week, and think it's such a cool idea.

  6. I love the pop of green. The closest I get to wearing the colour green is aqua.
