Ruffled Monday

I'm sure there are not many people still on leave, but the traffic on my way into the office this morning said they must be.  I stopped at Miss Bean's school to collect her text books at 7:30am and my drive in felt like a Saturday morning.  I'm about dreading the traffic build-up over the next few days.  However, I am grateful that I have a job to go to.

When I got home from work, I was so tired that I fell asleep on the couch til 8pm.  I'm now feeling too awake for the time of night.  Tomorrow, my boss gets back from leave, so it could be a little crazy so I'd best get some sleep.  Last night I got way too little sleep and when my alarm sounded, I seriously battled to open my eyes.

  1. Ooohh... what a lovely outfit. Feminine and attractive. You can wear this when we go out for a cup of tea. :)

  2. Absolutely gorgeous outfit!!!
I am impressed that you have already fetched Miss Bean's text books. I only got to order Connor's yesterday.
I agree that the traffic has been a dream.

  3. Ally - we'll have to make sure that it's summer/spring (and not a chance of snow) and then we'll go and have high tea :-) Deal?

Thanks Lynn - I ordered her text books in October when the form was sent home.

  4. I'm always loving the red, white and black and you are ROCKING it. Great outfit.

  5. Good morning Wendy! It's about 8am here in GA. Just checking the emails and came upon this beautiful lady. What an amazing outfit! I love the red on you! Have a great day!

  6. The details: floral slingbacks, ruffled blouse and pearl bracelet are so pretty and feminine--love it! :-)

  7. Thanks for all the positive comments guys, much appreciated.

  8. You look stunning in the red and white...and the ruffle is great.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment - I love hearing others feelings and appreciate your time. Please be honest - BUT kind.

Have a fabulous day now and I'll be coming round to visit you as soon as I can.

Thanks again, Wendy
