450th post

Wow, that's a lot of posts!

So today, maybe influenced by yesterdays outfit, I had red show up again in my outfit.

Please look closely at the shoes!  They screamed my name and insisted that I get them ... so of course, I felt sorry for them and took a pair home with me.  Wonderful, pretty, leopard prints with a little platform.  My heart was fluttering with excitement at the prospect of wearing them.  But, I waited .. the entire weekend .. as well as Monday and Tuesday and today, with a slight feeling of dizziness, I slipped them on.  Sassy, sexy, stylish ... shoes.  Hmmmm ... but these sassy, sexy stylish shoes did not live up to my expectation.  Oh don't get me wrong, I like them so much I could frame them ... but they drove me nuts.  They're a half size too big ... so I put a 'patch' in the heel, I wore an insert, yet none of that stopped them from flopping about like flip flops :-(.  But ... I'll possibly wear them again.

Sometimes comfort doesn't matter. When a shoe is freakin' fabulous, it may be worth a subsequent day of misery. Soak in Epsom salts and take comfort in the fact that you're better than everyone else.”

The jacket is a first time wear as well.  I bought it ages ago and have also been waiting to wear it.  Today was just a little cool, so it was perfect weather for a jacket.

Well friends, I'm yawning my head off here, so I'll be leaving for now.

Til we meet again ... Be fabulous, be fierce ... be You.
