Pretty pink 'n rockin' the red

It's a double bill again, although I took photos yesterday, after dinner I was just slack about downloading and posting.  Today I left work a little earlier as I was in early yesterday and today (not sure why, but seemed the traffic angles were smiling on us) and I decided after eight hours to get out of there.  I went to order a birthday cake for my mom.  We're having dinner for her on Friday evening as she's turning 70 on Monday, but since Richie is going to Germany and Noleen and Gordon are going to Durban, we're having the dinner on Friday.  It's quite scary to think of my mom as 70 years old - I have memories of her at my age.

I couldn't wait to wear this blozer again :-)

Tonight was our monthly 'sisters dinner'.  We've been doing this for more than two years and always I feel I wish we had a little more as there is always so much to share, loads of laughter and a bit of craziness.  I think it's the best thing we ever did.  There is something about a woman who understands where you came frome, what your challenges were that no friend can compare with - no matter how close you are or how much you share.

Well, its late and I must get to bed ... hope your day was fabulous.

  2. *sigh*

There are some blogs that, when I visit, I have a visceral response. Yours is one of them. In fact, yours probably causes that reaction in me more than any other. I can't describe it adequately: it's just that seeing pictures of you melts my heart. This post did that to me.

  3. I love both these ultra feminine outfits! And I also love hearing about your sister dinner. My sisters have tried to have a monthly sister dinner as well, but it hasn't really worked out. I live in another part of the country, and the others have a hard time getting together that often. It's nice to hear that it works well for someone! ;)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment - I love hearing others feelings and appreciate your time. Please be honest - BUT kind.

Have a fabulous day now and I'll be coming round to visit you as soon as I can.

Thanks again, Wendy
