Opinions Please

I adore these shoes!

Details : Shirt - Kelso at Edgars (still available) | Pants : Finnigans at Truworths | Cardigan : Truworths? | Belt and Ring : Edgars | Sunnies : RayBan
I do believe this is only the second time I've worn this top.  The reason?  It just does not seem to 'fit'.  I can't quite make up my mind.  If I tuck it, it looks worse.  I do think that the frills are too high and close to my neck, which seems to make my chest look huge and my boobies out of place.  Is it just me thinking this, do you agree?  Any suggestions?  Should this stay or should it go ... da da da dah ... ?  Let me know your opinions please.

  1. You look very chic! I love the look but at the end of the day you have to be comfortable with what you wear.

  2. I like the top, but I think it is one that needs to be out over pants and not with a belt or tucked in. In know you like the shaped look, but sometimes with really slim pants, it will look great.

  3. First off, love the shoes.

The top is a nice shiny material, but you're right about its design. While I normally love ruffles, they seem oddly-placed (too high) which distorts the proportions of your body. Plus, if you don't feel comfortable wearing an item, it will show in even your unconscious attitude.

  4. I love the shoes too! I think the shine + the ruffles might just be "too much" for one blouse. I can picture it flattering your slim shape more in a knit fabric with ruffles, or as a shiny blouse with just a single ruffle -- if that makes any sense!

  5. I love the idea of the outfit you put together, but I really don't like the shirt, "not A keeper" the ruffles are too much, it doesn't flatter at all and doesn't even cause fashion drama.

I really think you need a red belt!! We should be getting one for our Fall 3 collection, If so and if I think you will like it, I will get it for you and the kids can bring it home :)

    I love you....

  6. I see what you mean, what if you paired it with a high-waisted pencil skirt? Maybe that would balance the proportions better?

  7. I'm with Shy on this! The shoes are amazing but the top is not doing you justice! If it's an expensive one maybe you can have it altered? A bit more cleavage would make it work I think. Very chic outfit though! Kisses

  8. i like the top - think it's very pretty!

Perhaps neither tucked in nor belted, jst loose over skinny pants? or a tailored skirt

But you need to be comfortable. I think the whole outfit looks very chic x
