THE DAY PLAN : I started my day with the gym and then finally completed my Module 3 and submitted it - awaiting my result with bated breath.

When I got up yesterday morning, I was not sure I wanted to go to gym.  I kinda debated it with myself in my head and then decided to go because I knew I feel much better after I've been.  I then decided to tick off another item on my October Action List and try something new at gym.  My something new was a Rebounding class.  I saw it in action for a few minutes last week and thought it would be fun.  Well it was fun and I laughed a lot because I was simply unable to get the co ordination right to do some of the exercises, but I enjoyed it immensely and I if my schedule allows, I shall be doing it again next week.  I must say - 'my alles is seer' (my everything is sore).

It was our monthly sistas dinner last night and yet again we went to Casa Rossi.  Norma was curious to see how it would be after the previous manager had left. 

 

Sadly, except that the food was up to its usual standard, the rest of it was disappointing.  The restaurant was very empty and had no atmosphere.  The music was insipid.  The service was slow. 

THE VERDICT : I don't believe I've ever worn denim on denim in my adult life, or at least, not that I can remember.    In my head I clearly see the pictures of Brittney and Justine in their matching denim on denim look and it kinda makes me cringe and hope I don't look as bad.  Will look back on this in a month or two and possibly shudder.  Not sure I'm wild about it, but today I thought I'd give it a try.

I still have a few new items not yet shown on the blog, but I’m working at re-wearing and remixing items already in my wardrobe.

Today I decided to wear this dress at least once more before the colder weather arrives in earnest here in the southern

Hemisphere.

At first I wasn’t totally sure that this would look too good together but am quite impressed by how well it did work.

I choose to start this week off with a big bang of the colour purple topped off with some leopard. 

 

I added an old necklace that has some animal print threaded through the chain, gold watch and sparkly earrings to ‘dress it up’.

 

I choose to keep the shoes simple and neutral and decided to wear my grey two toned toe cap shoes (I do love these shoes so).

A few weeks back when I visited the Woolworths 50% off sale (as a card holder, we get an extra 10% over and above the 50%)

I indulged in three pairs of jeans as mine were due for replacing.  I bought these which have a cute design on the back pocket

(but we forgot to photograph it) with a coral tank and my think white cotton shirt.  To give it a kick, I added the kitten heel

Leopard print sling back shoes.

I felt super pretty in this outfit.  I just love this short and am still sorry that I did not buy more in different colours at the

time I purchased this one.  As I always say, its more green than the blue it shoes up as in the photos.

I choose to wear two necklaces, however, I see the bits on the shorter of the two did not show up too nicely.

I think my schatz is missing playing with my camera everyday, but I'm finding that doing a quick snap before I head to work is working much better ... that is until he has to leave at the same time as me ... then I'll have to get one of the boys to do the morning snap.

This skirt has not been loved much by me.  I usually feel a little frumpy when I wear it.  The 'gurus' tell gals with my shape that this is the best cut to wear This morning, as I was trying to decide what to throw on, the first thing I saw was my denim shirt and as I turned to the closet this skirt just about jumped off the hanger begging to be worn.  Its been in the sell/donate/give away pile a few times but I end up trying to give it another turn.

For the first time, it looked 'right' today.
