Schatz and I attended a fellow Toy Run champions wedding this afternoon. Ian and Melene chose Thornbirds, a venue very close to our home and they decided to have an afternoon affair. The bride looked lovely and I do wish them a happy and long union. Ian was so nervous waiting for her to come down the isle that he was sweating up a stream. The ceremony was lovely and the reception was relaxed with snacks out in the gardens and drinks and lavender and rose cupcakes for the wedding cake ... most interestingly though, the brides maids and groomsmen wore jeans!
This is me ... Hi. |
I wore this gorgeous mint 'lace' skirt (the material is the same as my white 'lace' skirt) that I picked up on sale at Truworths along with a top I've worn previously, despite having purchased a silver/grey sequence top, Courteney and I decided that this one looked much better. The silver clutch I purchased will need to find another even for me to use it for.
The accessories |
Ring : (ooops not sure} | Necklace : Mr. Price | Bracelets : Contempo
Mint lace pencil skirt and gold flecked knit |
Outfit details : Skirt and knit top : Truworths | Heels : Madison @ Fashion Gallery
The photo bombers ... Jodi and in the background Tequila (who refused to pose with me) |
Striking a pose |
Autumn is in full swing here and the trees are looking so beautiful ... I do so enjoy a second spring each year.
Thanks to my lovely mint skirt, I'll be linking up to Patti at Not Dead Yet Style.
Wendy, mint is a lovely colour and you look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBefore I read your note about going to the hairdresser, I thought that your hair and highlights are looking great! And I still do :-)
I have some problems with the comment form on my current post and therefore your comment doesn't show up but please be assured that I received it - thank you so much! Really enjoying Portugal :-)

I find it hard to believe that you are going to see your stylist tomorrow for magic. My first thought about your pictures is I LOVE her hair! Isn't it funny? I think you look amazing! Love your style and cannot wait to see the magic of the hair! How could it look better?

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the mint, Wendy! it looks so feminine on you. You look really confident in these photos and gorgeous as always.
ReplyDeleteDid I ever tell you that your blog and Natalie's "When life hands you a pear" blog were the first blogs I ever read?
I love the first picture: it's so revealing of your personality. It even shows a glimpse of your soul. Very nice. And the final few photos are amusing -- great poses!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely ... and perfectly suitable in mint! Really pretty color on you, with varying textures and delicate jewels. But you know most of us had to roll back up and check our your "roots"! You hide them well! I know I feel several IQ points higher when I get my mop cut. Enjoy the pampering and the fresh-haircut-natural high.
ReplyDeleteAdorable dog bombs ... aren't they the best if you have to share the frame?!
Come visit if you get a chance.
So nice to meet you!
I love that soft mint colour, and the lace is very pretty too! Love for you to check out my blog if you get a chance? Enjoy the pampering tomorrow! xx
